Brothers and Friends of Union Lodge #40
From the East
Brothers and friends of Union Lodge #40, Thank you for the honor of serving as the Master of Union Lodge #40 in 2009. I had the recent privilege of acting as Mentor for three friends who took our three degrees and who quickly became my brothers. I saw these men grow, literally, over a few short months. Upon being initiated as Entered Apprentices they received their foundation. By being passed to the degree of Fellowcraft I saw their walls being built, and finally by being raised as Master Masons and proving their proficiency in everyone of these degrees, they had finally had the roof of their Masonic body installed. In time, if they choose, they may fill this building, adding and expanding, in knowledge and friendships. I realize now that I benefited and learned as much ,if not more, than they did and helped my own Masonic structure by helping them. This In turn helped my Lodge and again myself and by doing so, my family. Masonry is a full circle. If I follow my guide all my labors will come back to me in a positive light. I look forward to future labors and by doing so gaining more Masonic knowledge and friends. The Masonic journey never ends.
With fraternal regards |
